All new meditators have unexpected experiences. Since we are taking you from meditation beginner to meditation champ (short for champion) very quickly, those unexpected experiences will be plenty and plenty unusual for most. Simply recognize that you are having this experience, and let it wash over you, to then return to the ocean of new experiences that await you. Remember: this will pass as well.
What you might experience while and after meditating this way:

Set a positive, meaningful intention before you begin any meditation or program.
We will use a checklist. You might find it a good template for your future explorations of different meditations and meditation systems.
Most importantly, have love and compassion for yourself.
It's okay not to achieve pure bliss and Nirvana on your first go. And it's no small thing to spend this time on yourself, improving your experience for you and your tribe, so go easy on you. All you have to do is be--be present in the moment.
Think of meditation like going to the gym. Don't expect to lose 30 lbs in one session. Just show up. Keep at it. Be patient. Try. You will get there.

Relaxation Power-Up
First off, You MUST use headphones or earbuds for these to work. Why? We use binaural beat technology to enhance your experience. This is where one tone plays in your left ear and a slightly different tone plays in the right ear, creating a beat. This only happens with headphones or earbuds. Also, some of the sonic cues move from left to right ear, so stereo headphones or earbuds are a must.
Now, let's talk about posture
It's best if you lie down, but sitting with a lot of support is okay. Experiment first before you start the program. Get perfectly comfortable.

- Make sure you are free of strains and pains
- If on your back, put pillows or rolled-up towels under your knees, feet, neck, or wherever you need to
- You can use the fetal position if your back can't take 30 minutes of lying flat or supported
- If sitting, use a neck pillow or soft pillow to keep the head and neck still
- If sitting, a pillow on your lap will help support the hands and arms
- Curve your tailbone in slightly to straighten the lower back
- Roll your shoulders slightly up and back to open the shoulders and chest
- Think of your crown point--at the top of the head. Now imagine something above you is gently pulling the hair at the crown, pulling it up. Let your spine elongate for a few seconds then release, stacking and aligning the bones of the spine and the head
